BBC TV Series set in 2001 London at the birth of the grime music scene. Late 90’s early 2000’s signage, homes and environments. Recreating iconic record shop ‘Rhythm Division’ on Bow Road. Designing two fantastical garage clubs, a Guyanese take-away, barbers shop, record pressing workshop, market stalls of fake branded clothes, a community centre and each of the boys homes. Steeped in East End nostalgia and musical references. I designed original artworks for music themed graphics from the era with its roots in sound system and a rebellious UK music scene.
